Brainkind is a charity delivering specialist rehabilitation services and is seeking an experienced, NMC-registered nurse with strong operational management and service leadership to join as Peripatetic Service Manager. The role covers the North East, North West and Scotland, requiring hands-on support, leadership across multiple locations and a commitment to high-quality, person-centred care.

This permanent, remote and field-based position includes regular regional travel with some home-working

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Substantial operational and management experience in health and social care.
• Experience of supporting services across multiple locations.
• Strong governance, quality assurance, safeguarding and regulatory knowledge.
• Budget management experience.
• Level 5 Leadership & Management for Adult Care or equivalent.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across regions.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on operational leadership across multiple services.
• Support managers to maintain quality, safety, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
• Provide management cover and respond to operational challenges.
• Drive service improvements and monitor performance.
• Contribute to budget management and workforce planning.
• Lead teams through change and service development initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to promote outcomes for the people we support.
