Job summary

SGS is seeking an Inspection Engineer to join our Industrial Services team. In this field-based role, you will inspect pressure equipment across diverse customer sites, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.

You will travel across the territory, work independently, and produce clear technical reports while upholding the highest safety standards. A driving licence and relevant engineering background are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in pressure equipment inspection or engineering.
• Strong report writing and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of pressure equipment, engineering standards, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting pressure equipment and pressure vessels.
• Inspecting piping systems, safety devices and related assets.
• Assessing equipment condition and producing clear technical reports.
• Working independently across customer sites with high safety standards.
• Providing technical guidance to colleagues and customers when required.
