Job summary

IPH Fire Solutions Ltd in the UK is seeking an experienced Fire Suppression Engineer for a field-based role covering the UK. You will service, maintain and commission a range of fire suppression systems.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a similar role, a mechanical/electrical background, a full UK driving licence, and strong communication skills. The role offers a competitive salary with overtime, a company van, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Mechanical and electrical background.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Attend customer sites and test fire suppression systems.
Service, maintain and commission systems (FM200, Novec 1230, CO2, Inert Gas, Watermist, FirePro, Kitchen systems, PAFSS).
Fault finding using electrical principles.
Log activations in Simpro.
Produce service certificates and report findings.
Carry out service/installation work promptly.
Attend callouts with overtime as needed.
Produce technical reports on fault diagnosis and repairs.
Provide high standards of customer service.
Promote company when communicating with customers.
