Job summary

Global Fire and Security Systems are recruiting a Fire & Security Systems Service Engineer - Electrical for field-based work around Canary Wharf, London. You will perform electrical fire and security service, maintenance, and repairs to high standards.

Role requires FIA qualifications, City & Guilds 2360, and a full UK driving licence. Expected field-based travel with competitive earnings up to £55,000 plus overtime, door-to-door and on-call pay.

Qualifications

• Experience with fire and security systems such as Notifier, Advanced, Edwards EST3, GENT, Baldwin Boxall.
• FIA qualifications.
• City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification or equivalent (preferred).
• IEE 18th Edition Regulations (preferred).
• Experience in electrical fire life safety works within the services sector.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety and safe working practices.
• Strong customer care focus.
• Be proactive and capable of anticipating potential faults.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake electrical fire and security service works in a safe, efficient manner.
• Carry out planned maintenance according to schedule.
• Report defects during service visits.
• Maintain logs and documentation accurately.
