Job summary

Barnardo's is seeking two full-time Family Support Workers to join the Family Hubs in Sandwell. The role involves working with families, children and partner agencies to deliver targeted, trauma-informed support and evidence-based interventions.

You will plan and deliver focused services, maintain GDPR-compliant records, and collaborate across teams to ensure sustainable outcomes. A valid UK driving licence is essential for travel across Sandwell.

• Strong partnership working and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver targeted interventions, achieving measurable KPIs and positive outcomes.
• Provide high-quality direct work to strengthen families and promote resilience.
• Support families to access appropriate universal and specialist services.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to family needs.
• Complete and maintain accurate records, including risk assessments and GDPR documentation.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partner agencies.
• Contribute to effective exit strategies that ensure sustainable change.
• Capture and use the voices of children and young people to shape service delivery.
