Job summary

Roberts Webb Recruitment is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to support a diverse UK workforce across multiple sites. This field-based role requires travel, independence and hands-on ER expertise to advise on disciplinary, grievance and absence issues while driving policy improvement.

You will partner with managers, HR colleagues and unions to resolve complex cases, deliver training, and promote wellbeing, inclusion and streamlined processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Employee Relations or HR with strong UK employment law knowledge.
• Experience managing disciplinary, grievance, absence and redundancy cases.
• Experience supporting or managing Employment Tribunal cases.
• Experience working with Trade Unions and employee representatives.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Advise managers on complex employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance issues.
• Support escalated cases and tribunal matters with internal/external legal specialists.
• Review and improve HR policies and processes to stay legally compliant and practical.
• Deliver training and guidance to managers and HR colleagues on ER matters.
• Contribute to wider people initiatives spanning engagement, wellbeing, diversity & inclusion and reward.
