Job summary

Dovetail And Slate Limited is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Field Assessor to join our team in Yorkshire and the Humber. This permanent, field-based role involves visiting apprentices at their workplaces to assess progress against qualification standards and provide feedback that drives real competence and confidence.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required due to regular travel between employer sites.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled qualification is required.
• Significant industry experience in an electro-mechanical discipline.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Strong communication skills with learners and employers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular workplace visits to assess apprentices against qualification criteria.
• Provide constructive feedback and set targets to support learner progress.
• Maintain accurate assessment records per awarding body requirements.
• Liaise with employers and workplace supervisors to monitor development.
• Support apprentices through to successful completion of qualification.
