Ingeus is seeking an Employment Specialist in Scarborough to empower individuals with disabilities and long-term health conditions to secure sustainable employment. This community role involves regular travel and close collaboration with participants, employers, and local partners.

You will deliver tailored, strengths-based support in a target-driven environment, build relationships, and monitor progress toward employment outcomes while promoting inclusive hiring practices.

Qualificações

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse range of individuals.
• Experience engaging with stakeholders, employers, and community organisations to achieve positive outcomes.
• Ability to manage sensitive conversations with empathy, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.
• Knowledge of employment support services, recruitment practices, or welfare-to-work programmes.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Skilled at problem-solving and identifying practical solutions to overcome barriers to employment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personalised employment support to individuals facing barriers to work, helping them identify their strengths, build confidence, and secure sustainable employment.
• Manage a caseload of participants, delivering one-to-one guidance on CV writing, job searching, interview preparation, and career planning.
• Take a proactive and flexible approach to supporting individuals with complex needs, ensuring tailored support throughout their employment journey.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with local authorities, NHS services, voluntary organisations, and community groups to provide holistic support.
• Develop and nurture employer relationships to identify suitable job opportunities aligned with participants' skills, aspirations, and abilities.
• Promote disability inclusion and deliver guidance to employers on creating accessible and supportive workplace environments.
• Monitor participant progress, maintain accurate records, and work towards employment outcome targets.
