Job summary

ACT Ltd is seeking a CCPLD Assessor to deliver high-quality training, assessment and workplace-based learning. You will manage your caseload, deliver engaging sessions and provide constructive feedback to ensure timely achievement.

The role is field-based across routes, with line management by the Route Manager. A Welsh-language ability is desirable; a full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years occupational experience within childcare.
• Excellent communication, organisation and IT skills.
• Ability to build positive and professional relationships with learners and employers.
• Level 4 qualification in childcare/CCPLD.
• Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging training, assessments, workshops and centre-based activities.
• Manage own caseload and record learner progress.
• Plan and deliver learning, teaching and assessment with diverse methods, including digital learning.
• Develop and review learning plans, inductions and learner reviews.
• Assess coursework and workplace evidence per awarding organisation requirements.
• Maintain relationships with learners, employers and colleagues throughout the learner journey.
• Monitor learner wellbeing and safeguarding.
• Develop and maintain high-quality course resources and contribute to curriculum development.
• Evaluate delivery using feedback and research to improve practice.
• Support quality processes including observations and audits.
