Job summary

Housing 21 is recruiting a Building Surveyor to join our Asset Management team. The role is permanent, full-time, and mobile across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, with 35 hours per week and a nine-day fortnight.

You will provide professional surveying and technical support, delivering capital investment, cyclical, fire safety and statutory maintenance services to time and budget, with travel across the area required. An enhanced disclosure check will apply.

Qualifications

• Significant demonstrable surveying experience in housing, private practice or local authority.
• Full contract administration responsibilities for major works projects.
• Understanding of health and safety legislation and CDM requirements.
• Knowledge of Building Safety and compliance practices and statutory obligations.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional surveying and technical support to the Asset Management strategy.
• Support capital investment, cyclical, fire safety and statutory maintenance services.
• Manage projects to time and budget, including tender docs, cost analysis, site management and contractor supervision.
