Job summary

Vibe Recruit is seeking an experienced Building Fabric Technician for a field-based role across Wales and the South West. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites, demanding strong multi-trade skills.

You will perform repairs from roof level to groundworks, manage tools and stock, and uphold safety procedures while delivering a high first-time fix rate and clear communication with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Building fabric / multi-trade maintenance experience required.
• Ability to complete repairs across a variety of trades to a high standard.
• Ability to assess works and estimate materials and requirements accurately.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive building fabric maintenance and repairs across customer sites.
• Complete a wide range of multi-trade works including foundations, groundworks, external surfacing, walls, tiling, ceilings, doors/windows, roofing, fencing, flooring, carpentry and metalwork.
• Assess required works on site and provide information to support quotations and material requirements.
• Complete work orders within service levels and timescales.
• Take before/after photos and record works, materials used and time on site.
• Manage tools, materials, equipment and van stock effectively.
• Work safely and in accordance with Health & Safety requirements and site procedures.
• Deliver high workmanship standard with a strong first-time fix rate.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams.
