Job summary

HTG-UK is seeking Ambulance Care Assistants to join our Canvey Island team in Essex. This permanent, full-time role involves field-based patient transport and care, delivering safe and compassionate services to vulnerable patients across NHS contracts.

You will drive patients to appointments, assist with mobility, and uphold dignity and confidentiality while working within a supportive team. DBS check, UK residency, and training are part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check required before onboarding
• Full UK manual driving licence required
• Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from healthcare appointments while providing reassurance and compassionate care.
• Assist patients with mobility needs and transfers using suitable equipment.
• Maintain patient dignity, confidentiality and clear communication with families and staff.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and keep equipment clean per IPC procedures.
