Job summary

Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking an experienced Automatic Door Engineer to service, install and maintain automatic door and entrance systems across Greater London and surrounding counties. The role covers Home Counties, London, Cambridge and Suffolk, with on-road duties and a 45-hour week.

You will diagnose faults, perform upgrades, ensure compliance with BS EN 16005, and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Automatic door service, repair, fault-finding and installation experience - ESSENTIAL
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills - ESSENTIAL
• Knowledge of BS EN 16005 - ESSENTIAL
• Current CSCS Card - ESSENTIAL
• ADSA, DHF or Gate Safe qualifications - DESIRABLE
• Strong communication, customer service and organisational skills - ESSENTIAL
• Full UK Driving Licence, preferably clean - ESSENTIAL

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, fault-find and repair automatic door systems
• Carry out upgrades, modifications, installations, testing and commissioning
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults safely and efficiently
• Ensure work complies with relevant legislation and industry standards
• Deliver high-quality customer service and complete accurate documentation
• Work independently and as part of the engineering team across the coverage area
