Job summary

Timely Recruit Ltd is seeking a Field Asset Officer – Multi-Utility to inspect and audit utility networks across the Midlands and North of England. The role focuses on ensuring works meet technical, safety, and regulatory standards, with a strong emphasis on gas distribution and multi-utility infrastructure.

The candidate should have extensive experience in gas distribution, be comfortable with travel across the region, and possess knowledge of RAMS, Permits to Work, and safety practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in gas distribution, utility construction, or asset assurance.
• Experience with gas distribution engineering up to 7 Bar.
• Knowledge of RAMS, COSHH and Permits to Work.
• Strong health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and audit newly constructed utility networks prior to adoption.
• Carry out assurance checks on existing assets.
• Ensure contractor works comply with technical and safety standards.
• Review RAMS, permits and safe systems of work.
• Identify defects and corrective actions.
• Travel across the region visiting multiple sites per day.
