If this sounds like you and you are driven by purpose, join the SOPHiA GENETICS Genomic Research team as our Field Application Specialist, and help make a positive impact on outcomes for cancer and rare disease patients worldwide.

We are prioritizing candidates who are open to being based in our Rolle, CH office, though we will also consider remote candidates in the EU or UK. This is a field-based role requiring at least 50% travel to customer sites across Europe.

Our mission

Your role

As a Field Application Specialist, you will train and support customers on SOPHiA GENETICS solutions. You will collaborate with sales and CAPM teams to relay customer feedback, contribute to laboratory projects, and draft scientific and quality documents like fact sheets and work instructions.

The value you bring
  • Customer Training and Support: Provide training, manage support, build relationships, and monitor customer feedback.
  • Internal Laboratory Participation: Develop laboratory documents and train collaborators.
  • Product Development: Gather customer feedback, communicate needs internally, and coordinate with marketing and development teams.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with NGS library prep and captures.
  • Experience with liquid handler robots (Hamilton, Beckman, etc.) is a plus.
  • Master's degree in Life Sciences; PhD preferred.
