Job summary

Contract Personnel Ltd seeks a Fibreglass Laminator in NR15 for a busy manufacturing team. You will carry out laminating work in line with lay-up drawings and specifications, prepare moulds, apply coatings and build up gel coat and fibreglass layers to the required thickness while ensuring quality and conformance to safety standards.

Full training is provided; previous laminating experience is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous fibreglass laminating experience would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.
• Good attitude, strong attention to detail, and willingness to learn new skills.
• Able to read lay-up drawings and production specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret lay-up drawings and specifications.
• Prepare moulds, apply coatings and build up gel coat and fibreglass layers.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow PPE procedures.
• Work as part of a team to meet production schedules.
