Job summary

Community Fibre Limited is hiring a field-based Fibre Engineer in London to install, repair and maintain our 1.3M properties network. You will work under the Network Engineering Supervisor, performing critical splicing, testing and fault finding while delivering excellent customer service on site.

This role requires hands-on experience with fibre networks, the ability to work independently, and a professional image when representing the company to customers.

Qualifications

• Fibre installation and splicing experience required.
• Experience with OTDR testing and fibre blowing machinery is desirable.
• Experience with NRSWA and health & safety practices is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist Network Operations Manager with installation, service, maintenance and projects.
• Perform splicing, testing and reporting to the standard defined by Community Fibre.
• Communicate fibre terminology clearly to customers and colleagues.
• Maintain health and safety compliance on site.
