Job summary

Comex 2000 is seeking a Project Delivery Manager to lead the safe, efficient delivery of civils and fibre build activities across the North West. You will own operational performance, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to high safety standards.

Work closely with field teams, subcontractors and local authorities to drive productivity, compliance and customer satisfaction while delivering major telecoms infrastructure programmes across the region.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing civils, telecoms, utilities or infrastructure delivery projects.
• Strong leadership in field-based operational environments.
• Solid understanding of street works, reinstatement, traffic management and permit compliance.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple workstreams.
• Knowledge of excavation, duct installation, chamber builds and fibre network construction.
• Strong commercial awareness, planning and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day civils and fibre delivery across the North West.
• Manage field teams and subcontractors for safe, compliant, right-first-time delivery.
• Drive programme, quality, productivity and commercial targets.
• Oversee excavation, duct installation, chamber works and reinstatement.
• Ensure NRSWA, permits, traffic management and SSHEQ compliance.
• Build strong relationships with clients and local authorities.
• Coach and develop operational teams to achieve high performance.
• Identify risks and drive continuous improvement.
