Job summary

Fibre Networking Solutions Ltd is seeking a cabling Engineer to join the splicing team, handling installation in both underground and overhead scenarios. You will work largely on your own but may collaborate with other teams when needed to install CBTs, survey, or blow fibre.

Applicants should have a full clean licence (two+ years) and relevant fibre splicing experience; training will be provided to adapt to our methods and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Full clean driving licence held for at least two years.
• Experience as fibre optic splicer is advantageous.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions on-site.

Responsibilities

• Join the fibre cabling installation team to test rodding & roping ducts and pull in fibre optic cables.
• Work can be Underground or Overhead depending on site.
• Arrive on site, assess risks and set up the site safely with signs and boards.
• Collaborate with other teams when needed, e.g., installing CBTs, surveying or blowing fibre.

Fibre cabler or fibre cabling gang

This is your chance to join the splicing team for a rapidly expanding Fibre networking company (Fibre Networking Solutions Ltd) with big growth ambitions. It’s a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and competent fibre optic splicer who completes work to the highest quality.

You will be part of an installation team test rodding & roping ducts and pulling in fibre optic cables. Work can be Underground or Overhead

We are looking for someone to hit the ground running but understand that some training will be required to adapt to our way of working.

As a cabling Engineer, you will be working a lot on your own in all weather conditions, it is therefore imperative that you hold a full clean driving licence and have held this for at least two years.

You will arrive on site, complete a risk assessment and set the site up safely using relevant signage and courtesy boards.

We are looking for a team player still though as sometimes we may ask you to work with other teams where needed, installing CBTs, surveying or blowing fibre.
