Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on 12 hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient forming process and chopper operation.
  • Monitor critical process variables and product quality.
  • Inspect fiber production and product quality during pack-out.
  • Conduct safety protocols and maintain binder applicator assembly.
  • Monitors process variables and product quality including temperatures and speeds.
  • Obtains samples and performs quality checks as needed.
  • Inspects fiber production and quality during pack-out.

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO;
  • Exceptional attendance including working every day, on time, as scheduled.

  • Efficiently and quickly pulls glass from bushing break outs and places into choppers.
  • Ensures efficient forming process and chopper operation. Troubleshoots and implements corrective action as needed.
  • Identifies poor performing bushings and positions. Troubleshoots and implements corrective action.
  • Monitors critical process variables and product quality including but not limited to, bushing temperatures, air flows, pre-pad spray pressure and volume, applicator speed, chopper speed, and cut quality.
  • Obtains bushing melt rate samples and other quality checks as needed.
  • Inspects fiber production and product quality during pack-out process.
  • Monitors and cleans forming positions as needed
  • Maintain binder applicator assembly
  • Any and all other duties as assigned.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;
  • Three or more years of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to provide simple and accurate instructions.
  • Ability to work at times in a high temperature environment.
  • Frequent lifting or moving materials up to 10 lbs.
  • Required to work 12 hour rotating shift schedule including working days and nights and rotating frequently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, reach, and grasp.
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders and work from heights.
  • Ability to work overhead for long periods of time
