The Fiber Construction Engineer (FCE) manages initial design tasks, including permitting, pole and conduit licensing. The FCE oversees project and budget management, ensuring compliance with FirstLight’s standards. Responsibilities include managing project materials, construction, and multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines, budgets, quality, and safety standards. This role supports field design, installation, and the fiber optic network, involving some fieldwork such as site walks and pole data collection.
We seek an experienced Fiber Construction Engineer with strong knowledge of fiber networks, design, and construction. The candidate should have at least 2 years of industry experience, with a proven success record in fiber installations, and be capable of managing multiple projects within timelines and budgets.
