Job summary

Children First in Scotland is seeking a dedicated Family Group Decision Making Coordinator to join our East Ayrshire team. You will work with children and families at varying risk levels to support safe, thriving outcomes within family networks.

You will apply strengths-based approaches to develop Family Plans, build strong relationships, and navigate challenging conversations with care. We value diversity, inclusion, and a compassionate, rights-respecting approach to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience of keeping children safe in families
• Strong commitment to children's rights and wellbeing
• Ability to build trusting relationships with diverse families and professionals

Responsibilities

• Work with family groups to create Family Plans that keep children safe at home
• Support families at varying levels of risk using strengths-based approaches
• Collaborate with HSCP and partner services to coordinate support and safeguarding measures
