Job summary

Complete Talent Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Fettler/Polisher for a busy manufacturing site in Oldham, near Manchester. This permanent role offers a 30-hour week with overtime at premium rates and an opportunity to join a growing team.

The successful candidate will have fettling, grinding or metal finishing experience, can read engineering drawings, and maintain high health and safety standards while working both independently and within a team.

Qualifications

• Previous fettling, grinding, or metal finishing experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Awareness of workplace health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Grind, finish, and dress fabricated components.
• Remove excess material and surface imperfections.

We are looking for an experienced Fettler / Polisher to join a busy manufacturing business in Oldham. This is a Permanent role available for an immediate start.

The successful candidate will have a background working within a similar role within a fabrication based environment.

Hours .30

OT available at premium rates and the chance to join a growing team.

The role

• Grinding, finishing, and dressing fabricated components
• Removing excess material and surface imperfections
• Operating hand-held power tools and fettling equipment safely
• Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
