Job summary

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled ultrasound professional to undertake all ultrasound duties across obstetric imaging and related specialties. You will be responsible for producing accurate reports and providing compassionate, expert patient care.

The role includes teaching and mentoring junior staff and radiology registrars in advanced ultrasound techniques, including transvaginal scanning and nuchal measurements. MDT participation is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficient in independent ultrasound duties and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor junior staff in ultrasound techniques.
• Proficient in obstetric ultrasound including transvaginal scans and nuchal measurements.
• Ability to participate in MDT meetings and consult with radiology registrars.

Responsibilities

• Undertake all ultrasound duties independently and efficiently.
• Produce accurate reports and formal diagnostic opinions promptly.
• Maintain high standards of patient care across ultrasound specialties.
• Train and mentor junior staff and students in ultrasound techniques.
• Oversee and teach in specialised ultrasound procedures in obstetrics.
