Job summary

TFP Fertility in the UK is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Administrator to support transport of gametes and embryos, manage storage fees, and ensure consent documentation.

Based in Nottingham, the role is 37.5 hours per week with 1:4 weekend rotation, requires strong accuracy, empathy, and ability to communicate with patients.

You will follow SOPs, maintain records, coordinate with clinics and couriers, and help ensure regulatory compliance across the network.

Qualifications

• Essential: College-level education and healthcare admin experience.
• Experience in healthcare administrative role and strong record-keeping required.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to explain complex and sensitive information to patients.
• Right to work in the country of application; satisfactory criminal record check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sample imports/exports and manage transportation records.
• Monitor storage fees and consent expiry; issue statutory notices and process consent docs.
• Follow SOPs and regulatory standards; support audits and risk assessments.
• Support onboarding and training of new team members.
• Communicate professionally and empathetically with patients and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and traceable documentation; protect patient confidentiality.
