Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years metal recycling industry experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Thorough knowledge of ferrous materials grading.
• Strong judgment, communication, and supervisory abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety compliance and maintain safe work practices per policies.
• Create SOPs with Regional Safety Engineer.
• Train department staff and maintain employee files.
• Attend Safety Committee meetings and monitor safety program.
• Direct and coordinate ferrous processing and loading.
• Manage WIP and FG inventory and coordinate shipping.
• Prepare weekly backlog reports to Plant/GM.
• Coordinate with maintenance and scheduling of fleet.
