Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Fermentation Process Operator for its Speke site in the UK. You will work in a hands-on shift team handling cGMP manufacturing of fermentation processes, including Mash Preparation, Seed Room and Fermenter operations.

You will operate equipment, support material handling, perform sampling and ensure documentation is completed accurately. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement across processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production or process operations.
• Ability to operate and monitor equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong focus on health, safety and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate manufacturing plant using computer-controlled and manual methods.
• Monitor fermentation processes, focusing on sterility, efficiency and yield.
• Identify deviations and escalate as needed to maintain quality.
• Perform process sampling and testing per cGMP requirements.
• Maintain and document required operational records accurately.
• Support waste handling, maintenance work orders and material movements.
