Job summary

Elanco, a global animal health leader, seeks an experienced Operations Director to provide strategic and operational leadership across our manufacturing site. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, cost and people performance in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

You will lead cross-functional teams, shape operational strategy and ensure successful execution of manufacturing plans while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
• Significant leadership experience within a manufacturing or process industry.
• Proven experience managing large operational teams in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, compliant manufacturing operations and drive a strong safety culture.
• Drive performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People.
• Develop and execute production plans ensuring on-time delivery and efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning and Finance.
• Own operational performance including maintenance, quality and recovery planning.
• Manage budgets, headcount and resources to meet objectives.
• Coach and develop high-performing teams with succession planning.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies.
• Represent Operations in site leadership forums and drive strategic initiatives.
