Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking Female Support Workers to join our residential service in Axminster. You will help residents gain greater independence, support daily living activities and promote engagement with the local community.

Ideal candidates will have a full UK driving license, be resilient and adaptable, and have experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice. Training and development opportunities are available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license preferred.
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans is advantageous.
• Reflective practice experience desirable.
• Experience with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism and trauma.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain more independence in daily life within a supportive team.
• Assist with personal care and encourage community involvement and social activities.
• Support individuals in learning new life skills and accessing local services and activities.
