Job summary

IBC Healthcare is seeking a Female Support Worker for a permanent part-time role (28 hours per week, days only). The position involves supporting individuals with learning difficulties, mental health conditions, and complex care needs.

A Full UK Driving Licence is desirable but not essential, and training and development are provided. Benefits include comprehensive training, funded qualifications, and wellbeing support.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to individuals with disabilities, enabling positive outcomes.
• Assist with daily tasks including medication administration, cooking, cleaning and paperwork.
• Offer emotional and practical support and help access community activities.
• Build trusting relationships to promote independence and improve quality of life.

Female Support Worker – Partâ€‐Time (Permanent, 28hrs/week)

Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour
Shifts: Days only
Hours: Partâ€‐time – 28 hours per week (permanent)

Person Specification

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Experience supporting individuals with learning difficulties
• Experience working with Mental Health conditions, Complex Care, and Challenging Behaviours
• A Full UK Driving Licence (desired but not essential)
• Strong multi-tasking, time management, and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and flexibility
• A caring, compassionate, and positive approach to support
• Confidence managing challenging behaviour and conflict
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to individuals with disabilities, including those with complex needs, enabling them to achieve positive outcomes
• Support with daily tasks such as medication administration, cooking, cleaning, and completing paperwork
• Offer both emotional and practical support
• Help individuals access community facilities and participate in community activities
• Build trusting relationships that promote independence and improve quality of life
• Empower individuals to develop new skills and explore hobbies and interests
