Jobtrain in Harleston is seeking Night Female Enhanced & Complex Care Support Worker to join our brand-new service. This role covers nights and day shifts across a developing specialist care setting, with DBS checks and references required.

You will work with individuals to develop independence, teach life skills, and help them access their local community, with a focus on safety, dignity and person-centred support.

Night Female Enhanced & Complex Care Support Worker – Harleston – £13.89ph, rising to £15.39ph with overtime and evening/weekend enhancements (Ts & Cs apply)

Typical Shifts: Monday – Sunday - 730am-230pm / 230pm to 930pm - Nights: 930pm–730am

Shifts may be subject to change but will be provided 4 weeks in advance.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our brand-new Enhanced and Complex Care supported living service in Harleston.

The service is currently in the transition and development stage, giving successful applicants the opportunity to become part of the journey from the very beginning. By joining during this stage, you’ll have the chance to get to know the people we support, build relationships with your colleagues and play an important role in helping establish the service and create a positive environment from day one.

We expect the service to become fully operational later in the year, and we can also consider candidates who would prefer to start closer to the service opening.

Whether you’re excited to be involved in the transition from the outset or would prefer to join the team when the service is fully established, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of something new and make a real difference to the lives of the people we support.

We’re looking for genuinely caring, hands-on Female Support Workers who are passionate about enhancing quality of life and supporting people to develop greater independence.

You’ll be enhancing the lives of people we support by integrating into the community, teaching them new life skills, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out in the local community, the next you could be unwinding with them in service doing activities of their choice!

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on days out.

We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, forensic histories and people who may have experienced trauma.
