Job summary

Disability North in North Shields is seeking a Female Support Worker to assist a lady with daily living and community activities. You’ll help with morning routines, meals, light housework, and getting out and about.

A car is required; you’ll support independence, enjoy discussing football, and help the client stay positive. This role may require being female in line with legal guidelines, and you must have UK work permission.

• Caring, reliable and motivated frontline support required.
• Willingness to chat about Newcastle FC is a bonus.
• Must have access to a car; the client uses a manual wheelchair.
• Supports independence and positive daily living.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily morning routines and personal care.

Female Support Worker Wanted – North Shields (Newcastle FC fan welcome!)

Location: North Shields, North Tyneside

Pay: £14.25 per hour

Are you caring, reliable and up for a role that actually makes someone’s day? We’re looking for a Support Worker to help a lovely lady in North Shields with her daily routine and to get out into the community.

About the role

You’ll be helping with everyday activities such as:

• Getting up in the morning
• Supporting with admin tasks
• Assistance with toileting and showering
• Helping with an ankle brace and getting dressed
• Making breakfast
• Light housework
• Supporting community access — appointments, shopping, local trips

And yes… you’ll probably be the person she cheers on Newcastle United with!
