Prosperity Care & Wellbeing Ltd is seeking a compassionate female Support Worker in Gloucester to assist a lady in her 60s with mobility and personal care after a stroke. Shifts include early, late, and overnight patterns with 36–45 hours per week.

We offer induction, ongoing training, clear progression, benefits, 24/7 support, counselling access, and DBS clearance. Driver preferred but not essential; sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Experience in compassionate care or support roles is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with clients and team.
• Commitment to person-centred care and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobility and personal care for a lady in her 60s following a stroke.
• Assist with daily activities and community outings as required.
• Follow care plans, maintain dignity, and safeguard at all times.
• Collaborate with the care team to monitor well-being and report changes.

About the Person You’ll Be Supporting & Your Role

We are looking for compassionate and resilient female Support Workers to support a lady in her early 60s who lives alone following a stroke. The individual has complex physical care needs, is immobile, and requires full assistance with mobility and personal care. The individual can be supported into a wheelchair, including a motorised wheelchair provided by family members, to enable outings and access to the community.
