Job summary

Prosperity Care & Wellbeing is seeking a dedicated Female Support Worker in Gloucestershire to promote life skills and independence for adults with diverse needs. The role involves assisting with personal care and daily tasks, and supporting individuals in activities and community outings.

The position operates over long shift hours (7am–10pm) with a 2:1 care ratio. Applicants should hold a full UK driving licence; sponsorship is not available.

What will the Support Worker role look like for you?

You will promote life skills, independence and education for people with a diverse range of needs this may involve Autism, ABI, challenging behaviors, learning/physical disabilities and elderly.

Due to the needs of the people, we support you may be required to assist with aspects such as personal care and daily tasks. Additional to that you will have the opportunity to encourage and accompany the people we support with activities and being out in the community. This role would be 2:1 ratio with the people we support.

What we are looking for in the Support Worker:

cliché – however we really are looking for people who care! We believe the qualities of a great Support Worker are being empathetic, supportive, resilient, respectful and courageous and that is all you will need to succeed within this role.

• You will be travelling between services; therefore, a Full manual UK Driver’s License and business insurance is essential.
