Rehability UK Support Services Ltd is recruiting dedicated Support Workers to assist adults aged 19-60 with learning disabilities and mental health needs. You will help individuals access meaningful activities, attend medical appointments, and participate in community-based tasks.

A driver is preferred, and training is provided to enhance essential care skills. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care, supporting personal needs and daily activities while promoting independence

Your Role

Our Support Workers are our greatest asset. By understanding the needs of people you support, you’ll provide exceptional care that can change their lives. Your role will involve, however, not limited to:

• Helping people we support to engage in meaningful opportunities and activities – empowering them to enjoy a great life filled with unforgettable experiences.
• Getting involved in support in the community as social activities or shopping trips.
• Ability to communicate is essential, considering individual communication needs, and helping people communicate effectively with others.
• Assisting with Personal care and hygiene (if required)
• Medication administration (if required)
• Support with preparing and cooking meals. Cleaning, shopping, planning daily activities
• Support with attending medical appointments
• Support with social activities

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience with complex needs, or Mental Health, Autism or Learning Disability, as per service requirement
• Male or Female as per service requirement, and ideally a driver
• Willingness to learn
• Flexible
• Communication
