Job summary

Westcountry Case Management Ltd seeks a Female Support Worker to assist a young person in her Southampton home. Role includes personal care, OT/PT support, and helping her build independent living skills, with dog-walking as a possible activity.

15 hours per week after school hours and weekends; DBS enhanced disclosure required; DBS Update Service registration; female applicants only due to the nature of care; driving licence preferred but not essential; interviews may be via Teams/Zoom.

Qualifications

• Previous experience essential.
• Full driving licence preferred but not essential.
• Competent IT skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to client.
• Assist with occupational therapy and physiotherapy sessions.
• Support client in social and leisure outings; help develop independent living skills.
• Include dog-walking activity where appropriate.
• Attend interviews via Teams/Zoom when required.
