Job summary

Voyage Care in Papworth Everard is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our team on a 21-hour contract. The role includes helping people gain independence, with shifts 7am-2pm, 2pm-9pm, and occasional sleep-ins.

Starting pay from £13.13 up to £14.63 per hour with overtime and evening/weekend enhancements. A UK Driving Licence is required, and you will work within a supportive, person-centred team.

Qualifications

• Genuine caring, hands-on approach with experience in Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
• Experience working with individuals with autism.
• UK driving license required; candidate should be resilient, flexible and composed.

Responsibilities

• Assist people to gain more independence in daily life and support them to access local communities.
• Teach life skills and support participation in activities, outings, and community engagement.
• Follow person-centred plans and work within a supportive team.
