Job summary

We are seeking a Female Support Worker to join our Caterham team. You will support five ladies with learning disabilities, epilepsy and autism, in a close-knit team of eight, delivering compassionate care and fostering engaging activities and personal care.

Training is provided through accredited programmes, including qualifications in Health and Social Care, to boost your career in social care. The role offers a pro rata annual salary with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with adults who have learning disabilities and challenging behaviours is beneficial but not essential.
• Full-time role; 39 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Help people we support with day-to-day activities and community engagement.
• Support social activities and help them stay in touch with family and friends.
• Assist with managing finances where appropriate.
• Keep living spaces tidy and assist with shopping needs.
• Provide and encourage personal care as part of daily routines.
• Enjoy the role and bring enthusiasm to the team.
