Mencap in Darlington is seeking a Female Support Worker to assist people with learning disabilities with daily tasks, personal care, medication, and activities. Your role will help empower clients and promote independence in a caring environment.

• Conflict-Resolution Techniques:Necessary for managing and resolving conflicts in a constructive manner.

What we're looking for:

• A genuine passion for supporting others.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
• People who enjoy interactivity with the people we support.
• Must be able to reliably commute to Darlington.

Contract options:

Part time (20 hours per week)

Shifts:

• Days: Varied shifts between 08:00-22:00 (rota basis)
• Sleep ins required and paid at a flat rate of £64.20 per sleep
  
• Must be flexible to cover weekends on a rota basis
  

All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
