Job summary

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing is recruiting a Care Assistant to help clients maintain independence and dignity in their own homes. You will provide emotional and physical support, assist with daily living tasks and offer companionship.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided; a driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred, along with a valid DBS check.

Qualifications

• Must have driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you'll be a vital part of helping our clients maintain independence and dignityin their own homes. This includes emotional and physical support, helping with daily living tasks,and offering companionship. Please note that this includes caring for both male and female service users.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting clients with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Preparing meals and assisting with light domestic tasks
• Administering medication
• Providing emotional support and companionship
• Encouraging hobbies, interests, and daily routines

Key Requirements

• You don't need experience – just compassion, reliability, and a desire to help others. We'll train you and support your journey every step of the way.
