Job summary

Thera East Anglia is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Terrington St. Clement. You will provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, including personal care and mobility assistance, within a 24/7 shift pattern.

Full UK driving license (manual) is essential and you will work across Terrington St. Clement and occasional Downham Market. We offer a permanent contract with flexible hours and a salary of £13.30 per hour, plus advantages such as training and

Responsibilities

  • Support adults with learning disabilities in their daily lives, including personal care and moving and handling
  • Help create innovative ways to support individuals to achieve personal goals
  • Assist with planning and managing home, leisure, employment, and travel
  • Support people in their own homes or in the community
  • Work as part of a 24/7 shift pattern including earlier/lates and sleep-ins
  • Be part of an inclusive team and contribute to person-centred support

Job description

Location: Terrington St. Clement – PE34/ occasionally cover Downham Market area

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full Time/Part Time/Relief

Salary: £13.30per hour

Additional Information:

Full UK driving license is essential, able to drive manual cars and support people with mobility vehicles.

Must be able to work as part of 24/7 shift pattern including earlier, lates and sleep-ins/occasionally cover night shift.

Personal care, moving and handling required.

Confident to support people with complex needs including epilepsy.
