Creative Support is seeking compassionate Female Support Workers to join our team under the Transforming Care Agenda, utilizing a Trauma-Informed approach. Our Preston Trauma Service offers three bespoke supported living services for women with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs, and Trauma Histories. The service operates 24/7 to facilitate the transition of women from long-stay mental health institutions to their own homes in the community.
You will support women with their individual needs, promote independence, and help them achieve their goals in a calm environment. Responsibilities include supporting daily routines, promoting structure and safety, facilitating activities, and maintaining overall wellbeing.
Experience in care is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. Flexibility to work across multiple services is required to meet the needs of the women we support. All work will be in line with company policies and support plans.
Gender is considered an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010.
