Sense is hiring a Female Support Worker at Newton Court, Paston, Peterborough. This permanent role is 30 hours per week on a two-week rota, paying £13.00 per hour. A full UK driving licence is essential, and BSL is desirable.

The post is open to female applicants only for a Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010. The role involves supporting mobility, personal care, and community outings, with a focus on enhancing independence and quality of life for the person you support.

Qualifications

• Warm, caring and passionate about supporting someone with mobility needs.
• Comfortable assisting with walking, guiding and wheelchair use.
• Confident using good judgement and working on own initiative.
• Flexible across mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Willing to complete training and develop in the role.

Responsabilités

• Take the person into the community for activities such as swimming, gym, shopping and social events.
• Assist with accessing services like GP surgeries, banks and leisure facilities.
• Provide personal care and hygiene support.
• Help with finances and medication management.
• Help build and maintain independence at home and in the community.

Female support worker - driver essential

Could you help someone communicate with the world around them?

We're looking for a female Support Worker to join our team at Newton Court in Paston, Peterborough, on a permanent basis working 30 hours per week on a two week rota, paying £13.00 per hour.

This post is open to female applicants only. This is a Genuine Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role and BSL is highly desirable.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Warm, caring, and genuinely passionate about making a difference
