Job summary

Sense is seeking a female Support Worker for Newton Court in Paston, Peterborough, to support one person with complex communication and mobility needs to live as independently as possible at home and in the community. You will be involved in activities from swimming and gym to GP appointments and social events.

The role is permanent, 30 hours per week on a two week rota, paying £13.00 per hour. A full UK driving licence is essential, and BSL is highly desirable.

We're looking for a female Support Worker to join our team at Newton Court in Paston, Peterborough, on a permanent basis working 30 hours per week on a two week rota, paying £13.00 per hour.

You'll be at the heart of one person's world, supporting someone with complex communication and mobility needs to live as independently as possible, at home and out in the community. From swimming and the gym to GP appointments and social activities, no two days will look the same. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role and BSL is highly desirable.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Warm, caring, and genuinely passionate about making a difference
• Comfortable supporting someone with mobility needs, including walking, guiding, and wheelchair use
• Confident working on their own initiative and using good judgement
• Flexible across mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
• Willing to complete training and develop in the role
