About You: Are you someone who genuinely enjoys making a difference in others’ lives? Do you have a calm, caring, and resilient nature that helps you thrive in challenging situations? If so, we want to hear from you! We're looking for individuals who can stay calm under pressure, are enthusiastic, proactive, and can handle challenging or distressing behaviours. What will you be doing? As a Female Support Worker, you'll be more than just support – you'll be a key part of someone's journey towards living their best life. Here's what you'll be doing:
Who you will be Supporting: "Hi, I’m supported by SeeAbility in my own home. I’m looking for calm, patient, and non-judgemental people to join my team. I love spending time at home with my guinea pigs, my boys are my world. However, I also like to go out, have a coffee and some cake or even walk around the garden centre. Maybe we could go swimming and eventually introduce me to new things. So, if you like me, love animals, and being out and about in the community, you could be just what I am looking for!" I have a moderate learning disability and epilepsy, so knowledge of this will assist my support. While my behaviour can sometimes be particularly challenging, verbally and physically, I’m looking for someone confident, calm, non-judgemental, and caring. Ultimately, someone who can support me to live a fulfilling life. If you’re resilient, dependable, compassionate, and enjoy helping others, I’d love to meet you!"
