Dimensions (UK) Ltd. is hiring a Female Support Worker in Chippenham (SN14) to join our team supporting four people aged mid-60s to 80s, including three with PMLD and one with mild learning disability.

Roles include personal care, using hoists and equipment, supporting wheelchair users, meals, medication, and enabling communication. You’ll work 1:1 or 2:1 as needed in a collaborative environment with family and colleagues.

Job description

We're looking for a positive, energetic and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team in Chippenham (SN14), supporting four people aged from their mid-60s to 80s. The people we support include three people with Profound or Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and one person with a mild learning disability. Support is provided on both a 1:1 and 2:1 basis, depending on individual needs. This is a varied and rewarding role where getting to know each person's communication style, preferences and sensory needs is an important part of providing great support. The people you will support enjoy:

You’ll also have opportunities to support a gentleman who lives independently, helping him maintain his independence while providing the support he needs. Support includes:

• Supporting people with their personal care
• Using hoists and specialist equipment

• Supporting people with eating and drinking
• Meal preparation
• Administering medication
• Supporting communication in different ways
• Supporting people to do the things that matter to them
• Working closely with family members and colleagues

• Early shift: 7:00am - 2:30pm
• Late shift: 2:30pm - 10:00pm
• Long day with sleep-in: 10:00am - 10:00am the following day

Sleep-ins are paid at £50 per shift. Rotas are provided in advance to support planning and work-life balance.,
