Job summary

Affinity Trust in Chatteris is seeking a part-time Support Worker to assist a lady in her 40s to live independently at home, with a sleep-in duty when required.

The role offers 24 hours per week at £13.45 per hour (real living wage), plus full training and NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, on a fixed-term contract until May 2027.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and the ability to work a long day followed by a sleep in.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care required.
• Fixed-term contract until May 2027 (end date may apply).
• Part-time 24 hours per week, hybrid of days and sleep-in duties.

Responsibilities

• Support a lady in her 40s in her own home to live independently.
• Work long day shifts followed by a sleep-in, providing consistent care.

A full UK driving licence is essential as she enjoys going on long drives, as well as shopping trips, walks and eating out. The role involves working long-day shifts followed by a sleep-in, providing consistent and person-centred support throughout the day and overnight.

This is a fixed-term position running until May 2027.
