Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including washing, dressing, and continence support.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, household duties, and mobility support.
• Supervise slide board transfers safely, following correct manual handling techniques.
• Encourage independence and participation in everyday activities wherever possible.
• Offer companionship and emotional support, building positive and trusting relationships.
• Escort to appointments and accompany to social or community activities as required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care notes and records in line with policies and procedures.
• Follow all mandatory training and best practice guidance, including manual handling, safe use of medical equipment, and condition-specific training.
