Disability North in Forest Hall, Newcastle upon Tyne, seeks a female personal assistant to support a 79-year-old client with 24/7 care. Duties include personal care, meal prep, and light housework in a fully adapted bungalow; Driver required with at least three years driving experience and a full clean licence for insurance purposes.

Hours vary (Sat/Sun 08:00–21:00; Mon 08:00 or 09:00–16:30); opportunity to split hours among applicants.

Hello, I’m Mary and I’m a 79-year-old lady and I’m looking for a female personal assistant to join my team of carers who take care of me 24/7. I enjoy an organic diet and love to sit in my conservatory listening to books. I live in a fully adapted bungalow with my little dog.

Working hours available are

Saturday 08.00 – 21.00

Sunday 08.00 – 21.00

Monday 08.00 or 9.00 – 16.30

Can be split between successful applicants

My personal care routine involves assistance with showers, toileting and transfers (using a hoist – full training provided) meal preparation is part of the job as are some light household duties.

I would also like someone who has full clean driving licence with at least three years driving experience, as I have an adapted automatic vehicle (a driving lesson will be provided) and like to go out on occasion, shopping or appointments. You must be over 25-year-old for insurance purposes.
