Disability North in South Tyneside is seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to support a 23-year-old young man with a moderate learning disability, autism, ADHD, and anxiety. The role focuses on promoting independence, wellbeing, and confidence through tailored support in daily activities.
The successful candidate will work with varying hours, including weekends. There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder to be female and the right to work in the U.K. is essential.
Hours: Monday – Friday: 2.5 hours per day, Saturday: 6 hours (can specify availability during interview)
Location: South Tyneside
Rates of pay: Age-related national minimum wage, up to £13.43 per hour
Holidays: 5.6 weeks pro rata per annum
